CHOCOSHIT
Say it, without saying it.
I had this idea for a gift that was secretly an insult, a passive aggressive way of telling someone “Fuck you!” without having to say it. I came up with a box of ChocoShits, a fun pun, and a cheeky way to tell someone to Eat Shit!
Inspired by 80s horror and dark fantasy films, I gave the brand some luxurious gothic packaging and a dark sexy setting to bring the premium feel.
Wireframes of the Chocoshit, and the bevelled type. The bevel type logo was made by hand, with varying ridge heights to keep the face angles consistent with each other.
This bevel logo was the final piece of the puzzle for this project. The previous flat version of the logo lacked the geometry to create interesting reflections, making it either too dark and hard to read, or too bright, stealing the focus of the shot.
The bevelled version allows the lights to reflect in more interesting ways, highlighting the logo and allowing it to be easily read without distracting from the rest of the composition.
